Amy Barnes started
her stand-up career in Seattle, Washington. In her
spare time she appeared at comedy clubs around town while
working days as an engineer in aerospace. She quickly
gained a reputation as a rising star in the comedy world, so
she packed her bags and moved to Hollywood. From there it
was on to Comedy Central followed by a recurring role on the
National Lampoon network. She quickly found her niche as a
writer and began penning material for others. Amy has
written for Bonnie Hunt, Jack Black, and Morgan Freeman
among others. Married since 2002 to Jerry Miner, a sit-com writer and comedian himself, Amy frequently tours with her husband as Barnes & Miner. They recently relocated from Los Angeles to Seattle so their two children and their children's grandparents can carry on their love affair uninterrupted. |
